In his own car, the deputy Tehsildar of Mihipurva Tehsil in Uttar Pradesh was headed somewhere. The government of Uttar Pradesh is quite stringent regarding the state's VIP culture. Yogi Adityanath, the state's chief minister, made it apparent during a recent meeting with the officials that public works should take precedence over VIP culture. In such a scenario, all vehicles other than government vehicles are instructed to remove their hooters and red-blue lights.
