The woman waved at the automobile with the Pakistani leader riding in the front seat, according to the video posted on numerous social media platforms and the Pakistani social media debate portal Siasat.pk. She also reportedly asked the car to stop. The driver of the vehicle pulled to a stop and peered out the window.

On her phone, the woman was recording the encounter. He reportedly inquired into Nawaz Sharif’s corruption. After that, the driver pulled down the window, spat in the woman’s face, and drove off.

The video was uploaded on X by Dr Fatima, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, who wrote, “Nawaz Sharif’s driver spits on the face of a journalist who asked a question! None of the liberals, intellectuals or feminists will speak against it. Sick of this selective morality!!’ Let us inform you that Nawaz Sharif was punished after being found guilty in 2018 in corruption proceedings. He then sought treatment in London and has been residing there ever since. There are rumours that he is getting ready to go back to Pakistan so that he can run for office.
