Tourist assaulted, beaten with rods and sticks in Agra, Video goes viral

Viral Video:Tourist was beaten, thrashed and assaulted with sticks inside a shop in Agra after his car touched one of the devotees. The assault was captured in the CCTV and the video was going viral in the Social Media. Agra Police has booked five people in the case. The incident took place at the Basai Chowki in Tajganj area of Agra.

Shopkeeper called the cops and helped the man

The tourists car accidentally touched the devotee who was performing a religious procession. The devotee lost his cool and started yelling at the tourist, seeing him losing control on the Tourist , other devotees also joined him and started beating up the tourist with iron rods and sticks. Somehow the tourist ran into a sweet shop where the shopkeeper managed to help him. The Shopkeeper called the Police and the cops came and arrested five people from the spot.

Agra Police detains five people, further probe underway

The Agra Police swing into action and taken all the men into custody. The tourist was on his way on the Agra –Fatehabad road when his vehicle accidentally touched one of the devotees which triggered the violence. The cops are investigating the viral video and will take appropriate action after going through the footage.
