Amity Viral Video: “Crying Inconsolably, Frightened And Drenched In Sweat” Parents Share Ordeal Of UKG Student, Netizens Blast School Authorities

Amity Viral Video: Social media users blasted the school authorities for being so careless and put the precious life of a young child at risk. Some even said the school needs to be punished for causing emotional trauma to the toddler.

Amity Viral Video: In a shocking turn of events, an Upper Kindergarten (UKG) student of Amity International School in Sector 44 of Noida was allegedly left out locked inside a school bus for more than 7 hours. This was after the child fell asleep during the morning commute.

The boy was finally located inside the school bus after an extensive search was launched by the parents at a yard that was nearly 25 kilometres from the school campus.

It was revealed by the parents that the shocked child was found crying inconsolably, frightened and drenched in sweat.

Amity Viral Video-Parents Shared The Ordeal

The parents revealed their boy boarded the bus from their housing society early morning as usual. It is believed that the child may dozed off while in route to the school and stayed unnoticed inside the bus even after the vehicle reached the Sector 44 school campus.

It was revealed by the parents that the bus’s careless staff allowed the bus to go ahead to a secluded parking area. After this, the bus stayed parked for hours with the toddler still locked inside, anxious and terrified. Speaking to The Statesman, the child’s parents claimed they didn’t receive any ‘absent from school’ notification from Amity International School, which exposes a serious procedural lapse resulting in the enduring trauma for the little child. The matter came to light when the mother of the child reached the designated drop-off point of the bus in the afternoon to pick him.

The panic-stricken mother after unable to find the child in the bus informed other family members and relatives who approached the school authorities immediately and subsequently, the police were also informed.

In a statement issued by Principal Renu Singh, it was stated that school administration was informed of an incident and immediate action was taken by the school. The statement further reads that the school is relieved to confirm that the student was unharmed.
