The professor who was later identified as Mohammed allegedly confessed to his love after the girl had initially proposed to him. However, the girl refuted the claim and smashed him with slippers before other students joined her in trashing the professor. The professor had also distributed chocolates to mark the love-filled occasion only before he was trashed openly by the same set of students before whom he had confessed his love for the girl.
The professor claimed that CCTV footage was there to support his statement that the girl had initially proposed to him. After this, the girl demanded the footage to be released. As soon as the professor exited the classroom, the agitated girl and other students assaulted him.
