The startling incident happened on Sunday night in a lift behind the blood bank at AIIMS Bhopal. A young male wearing a mask boarded the elevator and struck up a pleasant chat with the woman, who was identified as Varsha Soni, an attendant in the gynaecology department. He abruptly rushed when the elevator approached the third floor, grabbing her gold mangalsutra and chain before running away.
