As reported by Aaj Tak, the accused has been identified as Shivam Ujjwal, who works as a PE teacher. His wife stated in her complaint that he made her exercise for three hours every day, saying she must look like Nora Fatehi. When she resisted, she was allegedly denied food for days. She also said Shivam often taunted her by saying he could have married someone more beautiful, like the actress.
According to her, Shivam regularly watched objectionable porn videos and photos. When she objected, he allegedly assaulted her. These actions left her humiliated and fearful inside her own home.
Allegations Of Dowry Harassment
The woman further accused Shivam and his family of demanding dowry. She said that her family spent more than Rs 70 lakh on the wedding in March this year. This included gold jewellery, a Scorpio car, and Rs 10 lakh in cash. Despite this, her in-laws allegedly asked for more and continued to pressure her for money.
She claimed that her jewellery, given by her parents during festivals, was taken away by her husband’s family and not returned.
The victim also shared a shocking account about her pregnancy. She said she was given harmful food during the early stage of her pregnancy, which led to complications and a miscarriage.
