Rohitash, a 25-year-old deaf and mute man residing in a shelter home, was brought to Jhunjhunu’s largest government hospital, Bhagwan Das Khaitan (BDK), after falling ill on Thursday afternoon. At around 2 PM, doctors declared him dead, and his body was sent to the mortuary, where it remained in a deep freezer for two hours. Subsequently, the police completed the necessary formalities, including a Panchnama, and the body was transported to the cremation ground. However, just as the pyre was about to be lit, a startling moment unfolded—Rohitash began to move and breathe.

The crowd initially panicked, but after regaining composure, they called an ambulance. Rohitash was rushed back to the hospital and admitted to the ICU, where his condition was initially stable. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness the following morning.
