Ghar ke Kalesh posted on X a video in which heartbreaking footage from Junagadh, Gujarat, is seen, revealing students brutally assaulting a younger guy in a private hostel, sparking outrage and calls for action against bullying.

According to reports, the victim’s father filed a police case against the five involved students (four assailants, one recorder) at Junagadh’s C Division station. Police have initiated action, and the hostel has removed the students. DEO is probing for any school negligence, though hostels aren’t under their direct control.

Authorities acted swiftly after the Junagadh viral video spread online. The SP of Junagadh responded to the post, stating, “Based on details provided by the victim’s father, five students found in conflict with the law were identified as minors.”
The officer further noted that authorities “have initiated action under the Juvenile Justice Act (Rule-8, JJ Rules 2011) vide Station Diary Entry No.18/25 (2/9/25) at C Division PS Junagadh.” Police said they are continuing the investigation to establish the sequence of events and gather more evidence.
