Kanpur Viral Video: A police man was filmed violently beating a woman in a locked room in Kanpur's Kakwan neighbourhood. The terrible incident has shocked the nation. The women can be seen being brutally beat and thrashed by a cop in the video, which was released on the Samjawadi Party's official Twitter account.

Shocking video has evoked sharp criticism , in which a policeman is seen thrashing women locked from inside in Kanpur’s Kakwan area

As shown in the video, people standing outside the room are shouting "Why have you shut the door, what are you doing to her?" and pleading with the policeman to open the door. The woman is crying out for assistance and claiming, "He is beating me, torturing me"

The cop does not release the women until the end of more than 2 minute long video

When the officer realizes he is being filmed, he begins to remark, "You people are not doing the correct thing with police, whatever you are doing is wrong," and is then seen defending his conduct.

Despite making an effort to justify his actions, the police officer held onto the woman until the end of the two minute video.
Meanwhile, the woman can be seen asking for assistance: "Why have you shut the door".

The states opposition , Samajwadi party , slammed the Yogi Adityanath led Government over the act. The party tweeted “Shameful act of Kanpur Police. Everyday, videos of Yogi Governments police doing atrocities on citizen’s emerge, but the Chief Minister stays silent. Matter must be probed and action should be taken on the cop”.
