Social Media Reactions
A user commented, “This is exactly the problem in our country. No civic sense whatsoever. People can’t behave properly in public, and when caught, they hide behind religion. It’s honestly embarrassing at this point. Respect has to be earned, not claimed like this.” Another user wrote, “Drunk, causing chaos, and suddenly becomes a ‘protector’? This is not devotion, this is desperation to escape shame. India seriously needs to talk about civic responsibility. We can’t keep normalizing this behavior.”
Another user commented, “Why is religion always the emergency exit for bad behavior? No one questions real issues, but everyone plays identity cards. Zero accountability, zero civic sense. And then we wonder why things don’t improve.” A user said, “This video made me angry more than anything. Public nuisance + fake moral superiority = toxic combination. People should learn basic manners before claiming big titles. Civic sense is not optional!”
An angry user said, “Honestly, this is not even surprising anymore. Anytime someone is cornered, they bring up religion. It’s becoming a pattern and it’s dangerous. We need stricter consequences for such behavior.” Another wrote, “You can’t just shout a label and expect respect. Respect comes from actions, not drunken claims. India’s civic sense crisis is real. And incidents like this prove it.”
