According to the recent update shared by Sachin Gupta on X, the Meerut content creator Shadab Jakati now has legal complaints against his controversial video. In the Shadab Jakati viral video captioned “How much is the 10-rupee biscuit, jee?”, the creator made his lame jokes. In the video, he portrays a shopkeeper from whose shop a minor girl borrows a 10-rupee biscuit. The girl did not pay the bill and said her mother would do so.
On this, Shadab Jakati keeps fantasising about the beauty of the girl’s mother by looking at the girl. He even follows the girl to get to her mother, showing a classic lustful and derogatory behaviour. However, in a shocking turn of events, her mother does not appear to be as beautiful as he had imagined. This leads to a cheap mockery of which the creator thought would sound funny to his audience.
UP Police Act on Accusations Involving Minor in Video
Now this very video can make him possibly face legal implications. The Shadab Jakati viral video shows the disturbing thoughts in his mind. His content got widespread public backlash not only for involving a minor but also for sexually objectifying her. Therefore, several complaints are filed against the creator for breaching child protection norms.
People Debate the Responsibility of Influencers Creating Risky Content
Though the comic style and catchy dialogues of Shadab Jakati are popular among his followers, they often cross the limits of decency. The apparently naive jokes show a deeply entrenched patriarchal mentality. This made sensible citizens question the moral responsibility of such content creators.
Whether the UP police will arrest the creator or warn him from creating such content is yet to be known. While such lame content provides easy views and virality, the moral responsibility of creators should not be neglected.
