Uttarakhand Viral Video: A single email has turned celebration into chaos for one of India’s most followed digital creators. Just days before his wedding preparations, a staggering ransom demand surfaced, dragging him into a chilling web of threats.

The shocking twist, connected to a dreaded gang’s name, has left fans stunned and police scrambling. This unfolding drama grips not just Uttarakhand but the country’s online community.

Uttarakhand Viral Video Sparks Allegations Of Crore Extortion

Saurabh Joshi, creator of Sourav Joshi Vlogs, enjoys massive fame with crores of subscribers worldwide. However, the Uttarakhand viral video controversy has now pushed him into headlines after a shocking ₹5 crore extortion threat. On September 15, he reportedly received a Gmail message from the alleged Bhau Gang, led by ‘Chhota Don’. Joshi, who lives in Olivia Colony on Rampur Road, Haldwani, complained to the Kotwali police station.

Officials noted Himanshu Bhau, a Delhi gangster and rival of Lawrence Bishnoi, runs the gang. Earlier, the same group claimed responsibility for firing outside YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s residence in August. With the Bhau Gang now targeting Joshi, his family has been left shaken as wedding plans were underway, intensifying concerns around the Saurabh Joshi extortion threat.

Case Filed Against ‘Bhau Gang’ Over Extortion Threat

Saurabh Joshi revealed his family was focused on wedding preparations when the Bhau Gang threat arrived, leaving them shaken. He requested immediate police protection, and officers swiftly increased security around his residence in Haldwani. Kotwali in-charge Rajesh Yadav confirmed an FIR was filed for extortion and death threats against unidentified persons.

SP City Prakash Chandra stated, “We have received the complaint and are taking the matter very seriously. Cyber experts are tracing digital footprints and coordinating with central agencies for leads.”

Last Year Threat Linked To Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

This is not the first time Joshi has faced such danger. Almost ten months ago, he also received a threat linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. That investigation revealed it came from one of his fans in Budaun.

The fan admitted to sending the fake threat in the hope of quick money. Police arrested him within 24 hours. The current Saurabh Joshi extortion threat differs, as this time it is tied to the Bhau Gang threat, known for past violent actions.

Netizens React Strongly To Shocking Extortion Allegations

When the news spread, social media lit up with reactions filled with shock and sarcasm. One user sharply commented, “Extortion by Gmail? Next step, Bhau Gang sending Google Calendar invites for ransom pickup.” The remark mocked the absurdity of online threats.

Another viewer commented, “Criminal gangs targeting digital creators for extortion shows how online fame can attract offline threats. Authorities must act swiftly to ensure Saurabh Joshi’s safety and send a clear message against cyber-enabled crime.” This statement reflected deep concern for Joshi’s security.

One expressed disbelief, like one user who wrote, “Crazy how even digital creators are now on the radar of extortion gangs. Fame clearly has its dark side.” The comment captured how online success often comes with hidden dangers.

A cautionary note came from a viewer who said, “Showing off big money does not pan out well most of the times…” The remark highlighted how visible wealth can act as a magnet for criminals.
