Recently a girl’s tweet went viral in which she said that she has moved away from her house and shifted to a 1 BHK apartment in Mumbai. Although, some people praised that girl but most of the people started trolling the girl. She has been trolled very badly and Twitter is full of such tweets.
Viral News: Netizens troll the girl for talking about her shifting
The girl Sejal Sud wrote on Twitter, “At 22, I moved out of my parents house.I am renting a 1 BHK in Mumbai. I’m still in college…so this isn’t permanent. But it’s a start to something new. I remember being at home and being reminded constantly to clean my room, eat fruits, and what not. Ever since I’ve moved out… SHOCKINGLY, I’ve realised I am way more independent than I think I am. Here are 3 ways I am ensuring I stay on track: 1) I Quit binging outside food I hired a househelp, and every night I send her a small memo containing meals for the next day translated in Bengali, so she gets the brief. This saves me money I would’ve spent on binging food outside, actually takes care of my health & in the long run it’s an investment towards my well being.”
She added, “2) Excel to the Rescue I made an excel sheet tracking all my minor and major expenses. Small amounts spent on cabs, grabbing a quick bite from a restaurant don’t really seem that big, until they add up at the end of the month. 3) Adding habits to my routine. While being in college I had led an unhealthy lifestyle… most things were designed in a way where I ordered food or led a sedentary lifestyle, ever after hitting the gym erratically. Living on my own is liberating but equally frustrating, as there is a lack of a routine.”
She continued, “I have ensured there is some system in place so I stay focused. – I purposely ensure my domestic help comes to my house at 7 am, this means I will have to wake up, unless I want to do chores myself that day – I love reading newspaper but due to lack of time, I miss out, again I have time blocked a slot exclusively meant to read a book or the newspaper. Living alone made me realise Solitude isn’t the same as feeling lonely.”
Netizens trolled the girl
As soon as the tweet went viral, netizens started trolling the girl on Twitter. They replied to her comment and trolled her in the comment section. One user wrote, “bringing in the western concept of moving out from parents is not cool.” Another user wrote, “Is this also a thread??? Everything is not content.”
