Mohit Ahire, the son of a wedding hall security guard, was engrossed in a game on his phone when a leopard entered the room he was in. Despite the dangerous proximity, the leopard seemed oblivious to the young boy's presence. Demonstrating extraordinary calmness, Ahire silently put down his phone, stood up, and quietly exited the room, ensuring to close the door behind him.

Speaking to TOI about the nerve-wracking experience, Ahire recounted, "The leopard was so close. There was hardly any space between the leopard and me. It walked into the inner cabin of the office right in front of me. I was scared, but I quietly got off the bench and sneaked out of the office. I closed the door behind me."

The Strategic Escape

Anil Pawar, the owner of the wedding hall, provided insight into the layout of the office, explaining that Ahire was seated near the entrance in the first compartment. As the leopard made its way into the inner cabin without noticing the boy, Ahire remained composed, swiftly leaving the premises and securing the door behind him.

Pawar emphasized the significance of Ahire's quick thinking, stating, "When the child saw the animal walk past barely a foot away from him - he stayed calm. He later sneaked out of the office and pulled the door behind him."
