Forest Department Orchestrates Rescue Mission
Thankfully, the Forest Department arrived on the scene promptly, taking immediate action to save the distressed animal. As reported by ANI, the officials, along with veterinary doctors, tranquilized the leopard to safely remove it from the vessel. The video captures the meticulous efforts of the forest department personnel as they carefully cut open the vessel, freeing the leopard.
Thirst for Water Leads to Unforeseen Trouble
According to reports, the incident occurred around 7 am in a village in Dhule. As per a Free Press Journal report, a male and female leopard were spotted searching for food and water. The male leopard, in its attempt to quench its thirst from a metal vessel, got its head stuck inside.
Swift Action Ensures Positive Outcome
The prompt intervention by the Forest Department proved crucial in this situation. The lack of oxygen inside the vessel caused the leopard to faint, but thankfully, it regained consciousness after the rescue. The leopard was later transferred to a cage.
