In response to the viral video, Hathras Superintendent of Police issued an official statement, confirming that departmental action is underway against the constable. “The Superintendent of Police Hathras has initiated action against the constables involved. A preliminary investigation by the City Area Officer is ongoing, and legal action will follow shortly,” the statement read.
