One viral video has caught the internet's attention. It features two brave young men transporting a crocodile on a scooter to the forest department's office. The crocodile, which had emerged from the Vishwamitri River, ended up in a residential area. These youths, instead of waiting for help, took on the responsibility of rescuing the reptile. In the video, the driver steers the scooter, while his companion holds the crocodile on his lap, a sight that has left viewers in awe.
As the video circulated on social media, netizens applauded the courage of these youths. One user humorously remarked, "New meaning to 'riding with a beast.'" Another commented, "The crocodile must be thinking how he ended up with hunters instead of being the hunter!"
There are more instances of crocodiles making their way into cities. Another crocodile was seen wandering through a residential area in Ahmedabad. The reptile was captured by locals, who then secured it with ropes and gave it to the forest department for safe transport.
Even after Cyclone 'Asna' passed, Gujarat is still devastated. Due to the intense rains, many parts of Kutch and Saurashtra are still submerged in water. Over 3,000 residents have been moved to safer areas by rescue services. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for many cities.
