Viral Video: A shocking incident in Noida's Amrapali Leisure Park Society has sent shockwaves through the city. Residents and a delivery boy were brutally assaulted by a group of security guards allegedly acting on the orders of the Ad-hoc AOA (Apartment Owners Association). The horrific incident, captured in a viral video, has sparked outrage and raised serious concerns about the safety and security of residents in gated communities.

Unprovoked Attack

The video, widely shared on social media, shows security guards armed with sticks mercilessly beating the resident and delivery boy. Witness accounts claim that the guards also exhibited indecent behavior towards women residents. Two written complaints have been filed at the Bisrakh police station, alleging that the perpetrators were under the influence while committing the assault.

Arrests Made, Questions Remain

While three security guards have been arrested, residents allege that the Ad-hoc AOA president, accused of instigating the attack, remains at large despite a complaint against him. Furthermore, claims regarding no alcohol test being conducted on the president despite allegations of intoxication raise further questions about police impartiality.

Triggering Dispute

The altercation reportedly stemmed from a misunderstanding at the society gate. A delivery person, lacking the necessary app authorization for entry, was stopped by the guards. A resident who had placed the order intervened, leading to an argument and ultimately, the brutal assault.

Resident's Account

Abnish Kumar, the resident assaulted, shared a harrowing account of the incident in his police complaint. He stated that the guards targeted him upon his arrival at the main gate, accusing him of siding with the delivery person and not paying maintenance charges.

Ad-hoc AOA Denies Involvement

In an attempt to distance itself from the incident, the Ad-hoc AOA issued a statement claiming termination of the security agency's contract. While condemning the attack, the statement denies any involvement and attributes the accusations to "frustration" of individuals unable to become part of the AOA.
