In the footage, the two educators are seen slapping, pushing, and pulling each other's hair during a heated dispute. Reports suggest that the altercation began over a disagreement related to the division of work responsibilities. The situation escalated when the principal allegedly slapped the librarian and broke her mobile phone. Subsequently, both women instructed others to record the incident, further fueling the controversy.
Following the incident, both staff members were relieved from their duties at the school and attached to the office of Assistant Commissioner Prashant Arya. A departmental inquiry has been initiated, and a detailed report has been forwarded to higher authorities in Delhi, as the school operates under a central government scheme.
The local police have also become involved. Both women visited the Mengaon police station on Friday night to file complaints against each other. However, before any action could be taken, they were admitted to the district hospital. Police have stated that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the departmental inquiry.
The incident has sparked outrage among netizens, with many expressing disbelief and disappointment over the conduct of the educators. The video has been widely shared, accompanied by sarcastic remarks and calls for strict action against those involved.
Authorities have assured that the matter is being taken seriously, and necessary steps will be taken to uphold the integrity of the educational institution and ensure such incidents do not recur.
