Viral Video: A Sikh woman committed suicide after being fed up with her husband’s alleged domestic abuse here in the US. Mandeep Kaur, 30, allegedly committed suicide on August 3 after she released a video in which she talked about alleged domestic abuse by her husband Ranjodhbir Singh Sandhu over the years.
A video on this whole matter is also going viral. It is being claimed that Mandeep shot this video before her death. In the video, she is accusing her husband and in-laws of harassment.
Sources said that the Indian Consulate here is looking into the matter and is ready to provide all possible help. Kaur has two daughters aged four and six.
The woman is originally from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, Bijnor resident Mandeep Kaur was married in 2015 with Ranjodhbir Singh Sandhu, after which she moved to America, now after her suicide there is an atmosphere of mourning in the family, living in Bijnor.
Now the family members are seeking the help of the government to bring Mandeep’s body to India.
