Viral Video: A shocking video has gone viral on social media platform where a user has claimed that his ordered favorite brand’s “so-called ice cream” contained excessive amount of harmful palm oil. Users have asked for reactions from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

Viral Video-Turn Of Events

In the viral video, a user could be seen pulling out fruit & nut “ice cream” from a box of a popular brand. However, it was soon seen in the video that the ice cream box had huge amounts of palm oil. This has ignited fury among consumers, questioning if popular “ice creams” are just oily frozen desserts in disguise, and why India’s food regulator Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) seems inactive.

A user commented, “Mostly ice cream jo ajkal banai ja rahi hai unme MILK CREAM na use kar k PALM OIL use kiya ja raha hai aur logo ko bewakoof banane k liye use CREME naam add kar k becha ja raha hai, jis ki jyada matra sehat k liye hanikarak hai.!!” Another user commented, “This is not ice cream.. it is frozen dessert.. Ice cream is made from milk solids, frozen dessert are made from vegetable oils.”
