At UN Indian diplomat walks out as Imran Khan raises Kashmir issue

Pakistan again has put old Kashmir issue on the stage of the United Nations General Assembly.

Pakistan is continuously making false accusations on India in concern of Kashmir.

But this time, India on Friday retaliated against Pakistan for raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir at the UN General Assembly and said Islamabad had “once again repeated lies, carried out personal attacks”.

Ambassador TS Tirumurthy, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, tweeted, “Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s statement is another diplomatic fall. There is another bundle of lies, personal attacks and atrocities on Pakistan’s minorities and an attempt to hide cross-border terrorism”.

Indian diplomat Mijito Vinito walked out of the 75th UNGA session as Khan raised the Kashmir issue. A video posted by news agency ANI on Twitter shows him leaving the session as soon as Imran Khan start addressing.

Responding to the Khan’s address, TS Tirumurti, tweeted that there would be a “befitting reply” to the Pakistan leader’s anti-India statement.

“PM of Pakistan statement a new diplomatic low-at 75th UN General Assembly. Another litany of vicious falsehood, personal attacks, war mongering and obfuscation of Pakistan’s persecution of its own minorities & of its cross-border terrorism. Befitting Right of Reply awaits (sic), ”Tirumurti said.
