Avoid driving the car with half clutch

Half-depressed clutches simply rub against the flywheel, which generates heat. This may drastically shorten the clutch and pressure plate's lifespan.

Do not rest your foot on the clutch

If you place your foot on the paddle, there's a chance that the clutch bearing will come into contact with the pressure plate, which can increase friction. This may potentially result in a significant decrease in the car's mileage.

While braking, you should always depress the clutch.

The gearbox assembly in your car will suffer significant damage if you stop it, especially while the gearbox is loaded. Thus, when braking, it is always recommended to depress the clutch.

Never leave your car in neutral when parked

While we acknowledge that the parking brake will prevent the vehicle from rolling, having a backup is always preferable.

Never Coast downhill in Neutral

You will undoubtedly activate the brakes when travelling downhill, and coasting in neutral will overwork the braking system.

Never Grind the Gears

The noise produced as the gears are ground is quite disagreeable, as are the results.

Never release the clutch too soon

A reckless clutch release, such as releasing it too quickly after shifting into gear, will cause the clutch plate to bear extra strain. All of the system could be harmed by an unexpected collision between the flywheel and the friction plate or clutch.

Don’t floor the vehicle at low revs

holding out for an unexpected power spike? Always feel free to downshift a few gears. This means that the engine, gearbox, and—most importantly—your wallet are all satisfied.
