Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on August 24, 2025. It will stream on JioHotstar at 9 PM and air on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
This season’s theme gives housemates the power to rule. The house turns into a mini-government with politics, alliances, and decision-making at its core.
Salman Khan is back as the main host. He will guide contestants through the political-themed gameplay.
Housemates will be split into factions like the ruling party and the opposition. They will compete in “satta badal” (power change) tasks, where every choice impacts the game.
This will be the longest season yet, lasting around five months. Salman will host for the first 12 weeks, after which Farah Khan, Karan Johar, or Anil Kapoor may take over as guest hosts.
As per reports, confirmed contestants include Dheeraj Dhoopar, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Mr. Faisu, and Khushi Dubey. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
Makers have issued a strong warning against fake casting calls for Bigg Boss 19. They have urged to avoid scams claiming to offer entry into the show.
A doctor from Bhopal lost ₹10 lakh in a scam promising him a place on the show. He has filed an FIR, underlining how serious the fake-casting issue has become.
Some celebrities have publicly rejected participation. Divyanka Tripathi recently called the rumours of her participation “fake.”
