Hindu population is very high in India and after them Muslim population is found in second place.

Approximately 500 years before the first Muslim empire was formed, in 1200 AD, Islam made its way into India. Following it, numerous conflicts arose.

Battles

In 636 AD, the first Muslim attempt to invade India failed at Thane, which is close to Bombay.

Second Attack

India was once again attacked in 711 AD but this attack also failed and Ubaidullah lost his life.

Mohammed Bin Qasim

Iraq's ruler Mohammad Bin Qasim launched another attack on India and after this he also got victory. After this the propagation of Islam started in India.

Arabs

They did not gain much from the Arab conquest, and their empire barely lasted till Singh and Multan. They were unable to expand throughout India.
