There are many people who face the issue of Palm Sweating. There can be many reasons for that condition.

Emotional Causes

Emotional causes like Stress, Anxiety, Nervousness and Fear can trigger the sweat secreting glands to produce sweat.

Endocrine System

Endocrine system is responsible for hormone production in the body. Certain disease like Diabetes and Hyperthyroidism can trigger the release of Acetylcholine which is responsible for sweat production.

Neurological Causes

Some nerve-related disorders like Parkinson's Disease, Spinal Cord injury can lead to Palmer Hyperhidrosis aka Sweaty Palms.

Infectious Causes

Usually, infections lower down the Acetylcholine level in the body but there are two infections for which the case is opposite, Tuberculosis and Sepsis. These two diseases can cause Sweaty Palms.

Drugs and Alcohol

Sweaty Palm is sometimes dose-dependent, if the dose increases it can cause Palmer Hyperhidrosis. Alcohol can cause the same too.

Treatment

Using Antiperspirant can help in blocking the sweat glands. Other than this Botox, Iontophoresis and ETS can also help in curing this issue.
