Sini Shetty from Karnataka was on Sunday announced the winner of Femina Miss India World 2022 title at the grand finale of VLCC Femina Miss India in Mumbai.
She will now represent India at the prestigious 71st Miss World pageant.
The 21-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer represented Karnataka, though she was born in Mumbai.
She started learning Bharatanatyam as a child, performing the arangetram at the age of 14.
Shetty earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is now pursuing the degree to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
After she proved her mettle in her internship, Shetty was hired by a marketing company.
Her close-knit family has been a pillar of strength for her as they have supported her in academic and creative endeavours.
