Veteran singer Bappi Lahiri passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday night. He was battling Obstructive Sleep Apnea, his doctor revealed on Wednesday.

Soon after news of his demise came many Bollywood celebrities who took to social media to express grief.

In April last year, the singer had been admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after testing positive for Covid.
The last rites will be held on Thursday as the family is waiting for his musician-son Bappa Lahiri to return from Los Angeles, US.
