It was previously decided that Neeraj Chopra along with Manu Bhaker will be carrying the flag in the closing ceremony of Olympics.

The wall of India PR Sreeejesh who took retirement from Hockey after winning the Bronze medal at the Olympics replaced Neeraj as the flag bearer.
