She holds a B.Com degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai and pursued MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, one of the country’s premier business schools.
Priya began her journey with HUL in 1995 as a management trainee under the Unilever Future Leaders Program . Her rise has been steady and powerful, backed by strong performance and sharp marketing instincts.
Over the years, Priya held various leadership roles across home care and personal care segments. She was known for her deep understanding of the Indian consumer market.
Appointed as an Executive Director(2014)– Home Care, from 2020-2022 Beauty & Personal Care, she led iconic campaigns like "Dirt is Good" (Surf Excel) and "Glow & Lovely" rebranding — breaking stereotypes and promoting inclusivity.
Priya believes in purpose-driven leadership, empowering teams, and staying close to the consumer. Her management style is often described as inclusive, empathetic, and strategic.
In July 2025, Priya Nair was appointed as HUL’s first woman CEO.A historic moment for gender equality in Indian corporate leadership.
