Balochistan News: US Ready To Invest $1.3 Bn in Strife Torn Baloch Region, Rebels Warn Shehbaz Sharif, Asim Munir Of Grave Consequences

Balochistan News: Balochistan insurgents have issued a stern warning to Pakistani army, PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir. In a warning, insurgents reminded Pakistani Army of their embarrassing defeat to India in 1971 when more than 900,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered.

Balochistan News: The United States has approved approximately $1.3 billion investment in the sensitive Balochistan province, largest in Pakistan by land area.

The Reko Diq Project, which is located near the border of Pakistan and Iran, would be a $7 billion project in the insurgency-hit state of Pakistan. The production is expected to start by the end of 2028.

Developed by Canadian miner Barrick Mining Corporation in a partnership with Pakistan, the Reko Diq Project would see the US investment channelizing via the Export-Import Bank of the United States. The move is seen by many in the political circles as a broader push by the Trump-led government to strengthen economic ties with Pakistan and secure critical mineral supply chains.

The project is expected to help in producing 200,000 metric tons of copper every year in its first phase. The projected free cash flow is expected to cross $70 billion over 37 years.

Stern Warning By Balochistan Liberation Army

Balochistan insurgents have issued a stern warning to Pakistani army, PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir. In a warning, insurgents reminded Pakistani Army of their embarrassing defeat to India in 1971 when more than 900,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered. The insurgents said Pakistani army would face a harsher action this time and they would not hesitate to skin them alive and turning their bones into pieces.

A BLA insurgent commented that he invites all Baloch people to join them in punishing the Pakistani army.

For the last several days, Pakistan has been witnessing massive uproar and suicide attacks across the country. Railway and internet services in Balochistan have been temporarily suspended.

In response, the Pakistani Army has been committing atrocities on the common citizens of Balochistan. More than 200 people, including women and young children, have been brutally killed by army personnel till now.
