The matter of regional security is expected to be one of the most significant matters of discussion at the SCO Summit. The participants will discuss terrorism, separatism, extremism and other security threats that influence the region. As far as India is concerned, it is one of the most significant issues.

Besides security, the SCO Summit will concentrate on trade, energy, transportation connectivity, and digital technologies in order to enhance economic cooperation between its member states.
West Asia and Ukraine Wars on Agenda

The participation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian makes the discussion of the West Asian crisis more meaningful. Modi, Xi, and Putin to Meet Again
The participation of Modi, Xi and Putin in the meeting has emerged as the key talking point of the Bishkek meeting. Modi and his counterparts had previously met in the SCO Summit held in Tianjin in 2025. PM Modi is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Putin and other SCO leaders on the sidelines. Putin will separately hold talks with Xi and Iranian President Pezeshkian.
