Bondi Beach Shooting: Bondi Beach in Sydney is witnessing a suspected mass shooting causing widespread panic among beachgoers.
Australian police authorities have urged members of the general public to avoid the area completely and take shelter immediately as they continue search operations.

At least 10 people have been reportedly injured in an incident of mass shooting. A group of armed men started firing at one of Australia’s most popular tourist spots.
Horrifying footages of two men dressed in black were captured. The duo can be seen firing recklessly at innocent civilians. Nearby roads and sections of the beach were immediately sealed off. Armed officers have taken positions while the injured were ferried away to nearby hospitals.
A spokesperson for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said people have been urged to follow information from NSW Police.
Two people have been taken in custody. More than 2,000 people were present at the beach when the firing started.
Where is Bondi Beach?
Bondi Beach stretches over 3,000 feet and is located on the eastern coast of Sydney. It attracts thousands of visitors every day.
The firing started on Hannukah, the first day of the Jewish festival. An event named Chanuka by the Sea 2025 was scheduled to take place near the beach’s children’s playground from 17:00 AEDT (06:00 GMT) on Sunday. It was to feature live entertainment and activities “for all ages”.
