CM Yogi Adityanath Welcomes India US Trade Deal, Calls It Boost to Make in India

India US Trade Deal: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday welcomed the interim trade framework between India and the United States, describing it as a landmark step in strengthening the economic partnership between the two countries and a major boost for the Make in India initiative.

In a post on social media, CM Yogi Adityanath said the agreement will expand global market access for Indian products while safeguarding the interests of farmers, food security and rural livelihoods. He noted that the framework reflects a balanced and India-first approach to trade cooperation.

Calls It Boost to Make in India

The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for securing what he termed a reciprocal and forward-looking agreement. He said the framework will empower MSMEs, energise exports, strengthen supply chains and create new opportunities for India’s youth.

Yogi Adityanath further said that growing India–US cooperation signals increasing global confidence in Made in India products. He added that the agreement reinforces India’s position as a key driver of global economic growth at a time when supply chains are being reshaped worldwide.

According to official information, the interim trade framework aims to deepen bilateral economic engagement while protecting sensitive domestic sectors. The agreement focuses on enhancing trade flows, investment opportunities and cooperation across key industries.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his decisive and dynamic leadership, stating that the deal aligns with India’s long-term vision of becoming a global manufacturing and export hub.

The India–US trade engagement, officials said, is expected to further strengthen strategic ties between the two democracies and open new avenues for business collaboration in the coming years.
