Commerce Secretary's Meeting with PM Modi a Testimony to Strong US-India Ties

New Delhi: According to US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, who recently met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India and the US will be at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution. The finest of India was on exhibit during Ms. Raimondo's March visit, according to her, in terms of culture, custom, and holidays. The commerce secretary spoke to a group of Indian Americans at the India House while fondly recalling her Holi celebrations this year in India. "I recently travelled to India. To have the chance to take part in Holi, I arrived a day earlier and the minister of defence was so kind to invite me to stay with him and his family," Ms. Raimondo said on Saturday. She described her meeting with Prime Minister Modi and referred to him as a visionary.

US is strengthening its relations with New Delhi

Earlier this year, the US and India created partnerships in the fields of space, defence, semiconductors, and cutting-edge technologies. The bilateral agreement is another another example of how the US is isolating China while enhancing its ties with New Delhi in crucial areas.
