Russia’s former president, Dmitry Medvedev, has mocked the public feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk with a funny peace offer. On Friday, Medvedev took to X (formerly Twitter) to poke fun at the growing tension between the ex-US president and the billionaire tech CEO.
Dmitry Medvedev Finds FUN In Feud Between Trump And Musk
In his X post, he wrote, “We are ready to facilitate the conclusion of a peace deal between D and E for a reasonable fee and to accept Starlink shares as payment. Don’t fight, guys!” Musk (who owns Starlink) replied with a laughing emoji to show that he was amused.

Now deputy chair of Russia’s Security Council, Medvedev is known for his sharp social media comments. He jumped on the chance to mock the fallout between Trump and Musk. The two (once allies) are now clashing over politics and money.
Musk called Trump’s tax and spending bill a “disgusting abomination.” The drama escalated when Musk linked Trump to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Trump fired back, hinting at a review of Musk’s government contracts. The US President said, “We’ll take a look at everything. It’s a lot of money.”
Russian politicians also joined the fun. Dmitry Novikov (Deputy chair of the State Duma’s International Affairs Committee) said Musk could get political asylum in Russia if needed. He told Tass, “Although if he did, Russia, of course, could provide it.”

Furthermore, Russian senator Dmitry Rogozin jokingly told Musk, “Elon, don’t be upset! If you encounter insurmountable problems in the US, come to us and become one of us.” He promised reliable comrades and complete freedom of technical creativity.

The public feud between Trump and Elon Musk has turned into a geopolitical roast battle, and Russia is clearly enjoying the show. The drama is even more intense since Trump once honoured Musk with a golden key at a government event, but is now threatening to cut ties.
For now, Musk is keeping quiet aside from emojis, while Donald Trump remains firm on his stance. The saga looks set to continue, with Russia playing the amused bystander.
