'I committed odious acts! Doctor or Devil? Paedophilic French Surgeon Admits to Raping 300 Patients

A former French surgeon has been accused of raping and sexually abusing nearly 300 children, mostly patients under his care. The 74-year-old, identified as Le Scouarnec, admitted to the court on February 24 that he had committed rapes and sexual assaults over a span of three decades, preying on both boys and girls in their hospital rooms.

During the trial, Le Scouarnec acknowledged his actions but also claimed innocence in some cases, stating, "I am aware that these injuries are irreparable. I cannot go back in time but I owe it to all of these people and their loved ones to take responsibility for my actions." He further confessed to the court, "They were only children."

“I committed odious acts," Le Scouarnec told the court in Vannes. “They were only children," he added.

However, Scouarnec also told the court he regards himself as not guilty of those crimes in some of the cases.

“I am aware that these injuries are irreparable. I cannot go back in time but I owe it to all of these people and their loved ones to take responsibility for my actions," he said.

Graphic Evidence and Unimaginable Discovery

Investigators launched a probe into the surgeon's history and uncovered deeply disturbing evidence. They found over 300,000 photos, along with 650 pedophilic videos, some involving zoophilic and scatological content. Le Scouarnec had also kept detailed notebooks where he professed to being a paedophile, even referring to himself as such in his own words, "I am a paedophile and I always will be." In an even more shocking discovery, police found life-sized dolls beneath the flooring of his house, which he reportedly used for sexual gratification.
