India Reacts To Russia Ukraine Crisis

Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Amidst rising tensions in Russia-Ukraine, India said on Thursday that there is a need for ‘peaceful and constructive diplomacy’ at this time. At the same time, India said that ensuring the safety of more than 20,000 Indian citizens in Ukraine is its top priority.

In an important meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the situation in Ukraine, chaired by Russia, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations TS Tirumurti said that New Delhi is interested in finding a solution through which Stress can be reduced immediately. India is in touch with all concerned. We are of the view that this issue can be resolved only through diplomatic dialogue.

“India’s interest is in finding a solution that, taking into account the legitimate security interests of all countries, can immediately defuse tensions and aims at achieving long-term peace and stability in the region and beyond,” he said.

US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that he believes Russia will invade Ukraine in the next several days, noting that Russia has added more troops to the border. Biden said, “Russia will attack, I think it will happen within the next few days.” According to the report, he said that the threat of Russian aggression is very high.

The US President said, “Since they haven’t taken out any of their soldiers, they have moved more troops in No. 1 to No. 2, we have reason to believe they’re going to make an excuse to go in. Engaged in operating false flags. Every indication we have is that they are ready to go to Ukraine, attack Ukraine.”
