The Middle East is once again facing rising tensions as the conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States continues to escalate.

Rising Tensions in the Middle East

The Iran–Israel conflict, with involvement from the United States, has intensified with rising attacks and military activity in key regions. Explosions, travel disruptions, and strong responses from both sides have increased fears of a wider regional war.

What Is the Role of the United States?

The United States has played a crucial role in supporting Israel, both strategically and militarily. At the same time, it has issued warnings to Iran to avoid further escalation.Former US President Donald Trump has also made strong statements regarding Iran, adding a political dimension to the already tense situation. The involvement of the US has turned this into more than just a regional conflict it now has global implications.

Internal Question: Who Will Lead Iran Next?

Amid this chaos, a major internal question is gaining attention in Iran who will succeed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei? There are growing discussions about his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, being considered as the next Supreme Leader. This has sparked debate because Iran’s leadership system is not officially hereditary. The Supreme Leader is usually chosen by the Assembly of Experts, not passed down within a family.

 Will Iranians Accept Mojtaba Khamenei?

This is the biggest question right now. Many Iranians may oppose the idea of a family-based succession, as it goes against the spirit of the Islamic Republic. Critics argue that it may look like a monarchy rather than a religious democracy. At the same time, some conservative groups may support Mojtaba due to his close ties with powerful institutions like the Revolutionary Guard.
