Tensions are running high in Washington as Donald Trump edges closer to a potential military strike on Iran. While no final order has been issued, reports suggest that military teams are on alert and ready to act.

According to Bloomberg, discussions are ongoing, with insiders hinting that a strike could take place this weekend. Officials say plans are in place, but Trump is still weighing his decision.

Donald Trump Nears Final Decision On Strike Plan

Trump has reportedly approved a plan that targets one of Iran’s major nuclear facilities. However, he hasn’t given final authorisation yet. Sources told The Wall Street Journal that the U.S. could strike within 24 hours if Trump says yes.

Speaking outside the White House on Wednesday, Trump kept things vague. He said, “I may do it. I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I'm going to do. I like to make the final decision one second before it’s due because things change, especially with war.”

Inside the Oval Office, his tone was more direct. Referring to the stalled nuclear talks, he said, “They should have made that deal. In the end, they decided not to do it. And now they wish they did it.”

Iran’s Warning And Rising Middle East Tensions

ABC News reported that Donald Trump is eyeing Iran’s Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, a critical nuclear site. Sources say that if a strike happens, it won’t be limited. It would likely involve several coordinated attacks.

Iran has responded with strong warnings. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, “Any military incursion by the United States will undoubtedly result in irreparable damage.” Iranian officials also said they might strike US bases across the region if Washington joins Israel’s military operations.

Trump didn’t back down. When asked about Khamenei’s warning, he replied, “Good luck.” He added, “We cannot let Iran get a nuclear weapon. I’ve been saying it for a long time. I mean it more now than I ever mentioned.”

While Trump hasn’t deployed US troops yet, he confirmed support for Israel. Since Friday, Iran has launched hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel, killing 24 people and injuring more than 800. In retaliation, Israel carried out airstrikes that reportedly killed over 200 Iranians and hit key sites in Tehran.

Donald Trump also hinted that talks with Iran are unlikely. He said, “It’s very late to be talking. He claims Iran wanted to meet, but Tehran denies it. Meanwhile, European diplomats are preparing for a crucial meeting in Geneva this Friday, hoping to salvage nuclear talks.

World War On Cards?

Alongside the threat of missiles, sharp words are already flying between Washington and Tehran. Trump’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” demand on social media and Iran’s warning of “irreparable damage” indicate that the war of words is heating up, possibly laying the groundwork for real conflict.

Let’s wait and watch to know what happens next!
