Israel Attacks Iran: Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz has announced a full-scaled war on the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iranian media reported that several explosions were heard in Tehran. The United States of America has issued an alert to Americans in Iran to stay safe.
Israel Attacks Iran-War Mode Activated
The pre-emptive attack on Iran has now pushed the entire Middle East region into a battleground. Moreover, the attacks have significantly reduced any hope whatsoever left of a finding a diplomatic solution to the long-escalating nuclear dispute with Israel and the United States.
The attacks remind the world of the 12-day air war between the two nations in June last year. They follow repeated warnings by Israel and the United States to Iran of lethal strike if the Islamic Republic goes ahead with its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
In another development, Israel has closed its airspace after launching the attacks on several cities in Tehran.
Immediate Regional Fallout
The Middle East has been shaken by the latest pre‑emptive strikes on Tehran. The world has been pushed to the edge of an unpredictable, new phase in global security and economics. Undoubtedly, the Khamenei regime would a massive response and this would soon reshape energy markets, trade, security alliances and diplomacy worldwide.
Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and several Iran‑backed militias in Iraq and Syria have already signalled that they would escalate attacks on Israel, US bases and Gulf shipping lanes if any attack is initiated against Israel.
Many political experts have predicted that the Iran Israel war could result in refugee flows, humanitarian crises and intensified air‑and‑missile warfare in crowded urban centres would generate a new wave of regional instability. Cities like Tel Aviv, Baghdad and Beirut could see repeated alerts and disruptions, while displaced populations from Syria, Iraq and Iran‑aligned zones would once again strain neighbouring countries and international aid agencies.
