The Indian Air Force is now going to conduct maneuvers with the Japanese Air Force amid the tussle with China on the LAC (Line of Actual Control) in Arunachal Pradesh. He said the exercise is to be conducted from January 16 to 26. However, no official announcement has been made on the war exercise yet. “The exercise is being conducted in line with the growing strategic cooperation between the two countries,” an official said.

Second powerful air force after America

Japan’s Air Force, an Asian country and an integral friend of India, is considered second only to America. Meaning whether China and other countries; Japan’s Airforce is the strongest army in Asia. Apart from the deadly stealth fighter jet, it is now also making the sixth generation fighter plane. Japanese Airforce is also known as JASDF. It came into existence in 1954.

If we talk about the budget of the army, then Japan spends a lot on its army in the Indo-Pacific region. It ranks ninth in the world. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) report, Japan ranks ninth in terms of spending with about $49.1 billion. In 1960, there was a Mutual Security Agreement between Japan and America. Therefore, both the countries have been helping each other in preparing dangerous ammunition.

Japan is an integral friend of India

The friendship between Japan and India has a long history of its own. In May, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Japan to attend the Quad meeting, he offered several examples of this friendship.

PM Modi had said that we have created the identity of a strong and resilient, responsible democracy in India. In the last 8 years, we have made it a medium of positive change in the lives of people. Japan is an important partner in building this capacity of ours. Be it Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, dedicated freight corridor, these are great examples of India-Japan cooperation.
