Joe Biden to Re-Run for Presidency, Sets Stage for Historic Race

Joe Biden: US President Joe Biden formally declared on Tuesday that he will run for re-election to the White House in 2024. The 80-year-old Democrat, who is the oldest US president in history, may run against Donald Trump once more after the latter declared his intention to run for office earlier.

"Every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy," Biden said after sharing a video that was a little over three minutes long. "To defend their fundamental rights. I think we own this. I'm running for reelection as president of the United States because of this." Biden's supporters claim that his age reflects the experience he has for the job

Republicans have made it a point of attack, while Biden's supporters claim that his age reflects the experience he has for the job. Attacking the "MAGA extremists," Biden claimed that they are lining up to take those bedrock freedoms away. MAGA is an acronym for Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."
