Jordanian Ambassador Calls for Immediate Ceasefire in Israel Palestine Conflict

A strong diplomatic drive for peace is seen in Jordan's ambassador's call for an immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages in the Israel-Hamas war.

Israel Palestine Conflict: Israel launched an operation on day 33 of the conflict to strike the Hamas tunnels inside Gaza City. According to Reuters, numerous Hamas tunnels, command centres, and missile launchers are located near medical facilities, educational institutions, and relief centres in northern Gaza. This contains the biggest hospital in the area, the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Jordan’s Ambassador Calls for Immediate Ceasefire

On the Israel-Hamas conflict, Mohamed Salam Jameel A.F. El-Kayed, Jordanian Ambassador to India says, “Jordan’s position is very clear for everybody. We call stopping the war right away. We call for a ceasefire to be put on to save the civilian casualties. We also stand for releasing all hostages. That’s the Jordanian position that has been articulated by His Majesty King Abdullah II…and to stop the bombing of the civilian people. We’ve seen over 10,000 people have been killed, including children, women, elderly. So we need this war to be stopped right away…”

Hamas’ Military Force Size Revealed

Israeli security sources estimate that between 20,000 and 30,000 people make up Hamas’ military force. Rear Admiral Hagari stated that Israel wants to make it harder for Hamas to mount counterattacks by going after its field leaders. In the meantime, Israeli President Isaac Herzog and US Vice President Kamala Harris spoke on Tuesday (local time) about the latest events in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank.
