Missile Attack Near Israeli Border Raises Concerns in Egyptian Town, 50 Hostages Killed

Tensions have risen as a result of continued Israeli operations in Gaza and recent missile strikes close to the Egyptian-Israeli border.

Palestinian Health Ministry Discloses Names of 7028 Israeli Strike Victims

In the meantime, the names of 7,028 victims of Israeli strikes were made public by the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza. This was in response to US President Joe Biden casting doubt on the death toll disclosed by the Gaza health ministry, which is operated by Hamas. Cross-border combat between Syria, Lebanon, and Israel was reported.

Al Jazeera Reports Over 60 Palestinian Arrests in Israeli West Bank Operation

Hamas Claims Loss of Fifty Hostages in Israeli Strikes

Al-Qassam Brigades, the group’s armed unit, made the allegation following an alleged “targeted raid” carried out by Israel overnight, which the military said destroyed numerous locations before it withdrew.

Hamas Delegation Travels to Moscow for Hostage Negotiations

According to Russian media, Reuters, a delegation from Hamas travelled to Moscow on Thursday to negotiate the release of international hostages, including Russian people, that the organisation is detaining in Gaza. TASS said that senior Hamas member Abu Marzouk was present at the negotiations, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry. “Contacts were held with him in continuation of the Russian line on the immediate release of foreign hostages in the Gaza Strip. Issues related to ensuring the evacuation of Russian and other foreign citizens from the territory of the Palestinian enclave were also discussed,” TASS said.
