Pakistani People Call Shehbaz Sharif Hypocrite! Netizen Says Message To India on Kashmir Irrelevant

Examine Pakistan's ever-changing political scene as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif takes the stage to discuss the concerns of Palestine and Kashmir.

Pakistan on Kashmir

Pakistan on Kashmir: Shortly after assuming office as Pakistan‘s prime minister for the second time, Shehbaz Sharif wasted no time in bringing up the Kashmir dispute and pressing the Pakistan National Assembly to find a solution for the Kashmiri and Palestinian people.

Shehbaz Sharif’s Call for Unity

“Let’s get all together.and the National Assembly should pass a resolution for the freedom of Palestinians and Kashmiris,” Shehbaz Sharif stated in his first speech as the country’s leader, despite the fact that it is well known that his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N), will make all decisions pertaining to the operation of the federal government.

Diplomatic Pledge by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

The prime minister of Pakistan promised to strengthen relations with neighbours, but a Times of India report that quoted people familiar with the developments stated that Pakistan is unlikely to change its position that it will only normalise relations with India if the latter reverses its decision from August 2019 to revoke the special status of the former state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistani Public Reaction to Shehbaz Sharif’s Stance

Pakistani YouTube channel Naila Pakistani Reaction on this matter has posted a video. In this video, the reporter asks a Pakistani man, “Shehbaz Sharif is our 24th Wazir-e-Azam. Isn’t it a matter of hypocrisy that on one hand you extend a hand of friendship to the neighboring country and on the other hand you say that India He is oppressing Kashmir and we will liberate Kashmir. What do you have to say on this?”

To this the person replied, “Are there less atrocities happening in Pakistan? There is oppression on women, there is oppression on children. Now we should not say that India is committing atrocities, rather we should say that things are good in Pakistan. What atrocities are not happening?”

Replying on hypocrisy he said “Everywhere inside Pakistan you will see nepotism and double standards. Earlier the politicians here were imported, now they are planted.”

A Desperate Plea for Jobs and Pension

The reporter further said, “People living in Kashmir say that March 5 is the deadline, you return our jobs, give us pension otherwise we will cross the LOC and go to India. Now what do you say on this?” The Pakistani man said, “I feel like mourning over this. The people of Galgate Pakistan are also doing this, the people of Balochistan are also doing this. What is their fault, why is this being done?”
