Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a ceasefire for two days regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. That is, there will be a ceasefire on Thursday (January 6) and Friday (January 7).

According to news agency AFP, this decision has been taken in view of Orthodox Christmas. Putin has taken this decision on the request of the spiritual leader Patriarch Kirill. This ceasefire will last for 36 hours in Ukraine from the afternoon of January 6 to the midnight of January 7.

At the same time, Ukraine has called it hypocrisy and said that it is just hypocrisy.

Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, tweeted, "First of all, Ukraine did not attack any foreign land or kill civilians. Our army has only killed army men. Russia should first leave our occupied land. Keep this Hippocracy with you."

The Russian President's Office told that after the request of the spiritual leader Patriarch Kirill, the Defense Minister has been ordered regarding the ceasefire.
