Russia-Ukraine War: Negotiations are Ongoing to Replace Vladimir Putin as President of Russia, Claims Ukrainian Official

Russia-Ukraine War: According to a source, the Chief of Defense Intelligence of Ukraine indicated that Russian President Vladimir Putin won’t be in office until the end of the war in Ukraine and that plans are already being made for his successor.

According to Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Russian officials are “actively contemplating” ousting Vladimir Putin, according to The Mirror.

The declaration coincides with a Ukrainian counteroffensive to retake Kherson, a key port city that has been under Russian control since the beginning of the invasion.
It’s improbable that Putin will make it out alive. And right now, there are negotiations in Russia about who might take his place, according to Major General Kyrylo Budanov.

Ukraine hopes to retake Kherson by the end of November

Major General Budanov stated that Ukraine would even try to retake Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014. Ukraine hopes to retake Kherson by the end of November. He said that Ukraine might be thought of as the war’s final act.

Vladimir Putin has increased his stance since Russian forces suffered significant setbacks in September. He has called up hundreds of thousands of reservists, announced the annexation of occupied territory, and threatened to use nuclear weapons numerous times.

More than 40% of Ukraine’s power-generating capacity was destroyed by recent missile and drone strikes, resulting in electricity rationing and nationwide outages. They mark the beginning of what can be a chilly and gloomy winter in Ukraine as the conflict continues.
