Russia-Ukraine War: Today in Kyiv, a young woman narrowly escaped death when a missile detonated nearby while she was filming a message for her friends.

The video was released when Russian President Vladimir Putin bombarded Ukraine with missile strikes this morning, killing citizens in the capital Kyiv as retaliation for an explosion that destroyed the Crimea Bridge on Saturday.

While wearing headphones and strolling down the street while filming her video message, she was seen looking horrified and covering her mouth. A tall, terracotta-colored wall to her right.

She says to the camera in Ukrainian, "I just saw a rocket fly, I heard it " however her initial statement is muffled by her palm and the sound of traffic before being silenced. Over her, an explosion can be heard a split second after hearing the roar of an aircraft.

Rostyslav Smirnov, an adviser to the Ukrainian minister of internal affairs, stated that at least eight people were killed and 24 were injured in just one of the attacks on Kyiv. The woman in the video was fortunate not to be one of the casualties.
